Nunung Srimulat's Condition Improves After Last Chemotherapy, But Still Experiencing Hair Loss

Kapanlagi.com - Comedian Nunung Srimulat recently underwent her sixth and final chemotherapy as part of her breast cancer treatment. The 60-year-old woman expressed her gratitude as the doctor stated that Nunung no longer needs to undergo chemotherapy.

"Alhamdulillah, it's done with chemotherapy," said Nunung Srimulat in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (23/8/2023).

Nunung admitted that she has started to feel the positive effects after her last chemotherapy. The pain that she has been feeling in her breast area is no longer present.

"I'm fine, no more pain," said Nunung briefly.

1. Hair is Starting to Grow

In addition, Nunung's hair has started to grow again. Unfortunately, after growing, it suddenly started to fall out again, so she had to wear her wig again.

"Yesterday it started to grow, but then it fell out again. So I'm bald again. That's why I'm still wearing a wig," Nunung explained.

2. Continuing the Treatment

Although she is no longer undergoing chemotherapy, Nunung still has to undergo immunotherapy as a form of further treatment. This is done to boost the immune system of cancer survivors.

"Immunotherapy is used to stimulate the immune system in the body. So it is necessary," said Nunung.

3. Three Times Immunotherapy

Nunung has to undergo immunotherapy every three weeks for one year. The schedule is determined by the doctor's team handling her.

"Every three weeks for one year. That's the doctor's recommendation," Nunung concluded.
