Nunung's House Condition in Solo, Turns Out to Be Mortgaged to the Bank - The Installments Are Shocking

Kapanlagi.com - In a shocking confession, Nunung, a senior Indonesian comedian, shared her story about her quite heavy financial condition. In the midst of her long career journey, Nunung revealed that she still has one house in Solo that has been mortgaged to the bank.

This forces her to pay a fairly large installment every month to maintain her residence. She is willing to work while sick because she does not want to lose her home.

1. House in Solo Mortgaged to the Bank

In the podcast Close The Door that aired on Monday (3/10/2025), Nunung honestly revealed that she has to pay a house installment of Rp15.3 million per month. "The house is one in Solo, and the certificate is with the bank," said Nunung.

Nunung also added that the installment must be paid every month along with other expenses, including vehicle installments that have also been collateralized. In total, she and her husband must set aside at least Rp22.3 million every month just to pay their obligations to the bank.

2. Complete Facilities in Her House

Although her house installment is quite large, Nunung mentioned that the residence has complete facilities. All the rooms in her house are even equipped with air conditioning, which certainly adds to operational costs like electricity.

"I have to pay electricity (every month)," However, Nunung remains grateful for the place she lives in.

3. Moving to a Boarding House to Reduce Expenses

The unstable financial condition has forced Nunung and her husband, Ian, to adapt. They have now chosen to live in a boarding house in the Pancoran area of South Jakarta to reduce their expenses.

This decision was made so they could more easily pay their installments and meet their daily needs.

4. Nunung's Struggle to Support Her Family

Nunung, who is now 61 years old, continues to work hard to meet the needs of her large family. Although her children are already working and have completed higher education, Nunung still feels responsible for the welfare of many family members.

“I just wait, sometimes I become a guest star. Sometimes it drops for two months, three months, so I just wait. Sometimes it’s completely empty, for a few months my account only has Rp100 thousand. Yes, it happens a lot because I have to pay the bank for the certificate every month, I have to pay for the BPKB. That’s what I prioritize, I don’t want to lose my house,” said Nunung.

5. Another Operation

"Yes, the others are still in Solo. (Working to send to Solo) yes, but at least now for treatment. I have to have another operation. Not yet (any money) because I don't have a permanent job. I've saved a little, but there's always something that comes up, so I have to give in again. My hand is starting to feel numb because maybe the circulation (blood) is disturbed in this hand. My BPJS doesn't cover it, sir," said Nunung.

She also revealed that she doesn't have the funds for the additional operation, which costs Rp36 million if done in Jakarta. "I prefer to have it done in Solo to make it cheaper," she concluded.
