The first trial of the alleged extortion case against Reza Gladys involving Nikita Mirzani and his assistant, Mail Syahputra, was held at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (24/6/2025). Nikita expressed his objection to the indictment read by the Public Prosecutor (JPU).
"The reading of the indictment has many parts cut from the recordings that have circulated, the content is not like that," said Nikita Mirzani after the trial, Tuesday (24/6/2025).
Nikita believes that the chronology in the indictment has been arranged not in accordance with the facts he possesses. He stated that it was actually Reza Gladys who often contacted Mail Syahputra first.
"It was Reza who was pursuing my friend Mail, and it was never Mail who actively contacted Reza, but Reza who kept contacting Mail," said Nikita Mirzani.
On that occasion, Nikita also showed a personal note addressed to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto. She admitted to writing the note because she hadn't met the media crew for a long time and wanted to express her thoughts.
"This is my note because I haven't seen my media friends for a long time, so rather than forgetting, I'd better read it. This is my writing dated Tuesday, June 24, 2025," she said.
Nikita then read the contents of the letter she addressed directly to the President. She requested that the law in Indonesia be upheld without interference from power.
"To the Honorable President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo, please let the law in our country, in this beloved Indonesia, truly be straightened out and not be influenced by power so that it no longer chooses between what is right and wrong," said Nikita as she read her letter.
"I have saved many faces of Indonesian people, I have saved the face of many people because of dangerous and over-claimed products. However, instead of investigating those products, the investigators and the public prosecutor detained me," she continued.
The mother of three feels that she has not received justice in the handling of the case that ensnared her. She claims to have strong evidence related to the products promoted by Reza Gladys.
"What kind of individuals are the officials in Indonesia? The public prosecutor cannot prove that the product is harmful, but I have accurate evidence that the product is dangerous, not registered with BPOM, has a syringe, and does not have a barcode and is not registered," he said.
"But the investigators and the public prosecutor ignored my BAP, they did not delve into my BAP along with the product of Reza Grady, the queen of flexing, but I was detained. That's enough, thank you," he concluded.
It is known that Nikita Mirzani and Mail Syahputra have been detained at the Metro Jaya Police since March 4, 2025. The detention was carried out after both were named suspects in a report by Reza Gladys regarding allegations of extortion, threats, and money laundering.
