Officially Divorced from Tyna Kanna, Kenang Mirdad Must Provide Child Support of Rp 10 Million Per Month

Kapanlagi.com - The South Jakarta Religious Court (PA) has finally granted Tyna Kanna's divorce lawsuit against Kenang Mirdad. They are now officially divorced.

In the verdict, custody of the children is awarded to Tyna Kanna. In addition, Kenang Mirdad is also obliged to provide Rp 10 million per month for their two children, excluding education and healthcare expenses, until they reach adulthood.

"To provide maintenance for the two children of the plaintiff in the amount of 10 million (per month), excluding education and healthcare expenses, until the child reaches adulthood and becomes independent, with a minimum 10 percent increase each year. That is the content of the verdict that was announced today," said Taslimah, the spokesperson for the South Jakarta Religious Court, when met at her office on Tuesday (18/1).

1. Maintenance for Children

Meanwhile, Taslimah explained the definition of adult age. Namely, when these children are already 21 years old and live independently.

"Adult is 21 years old or independent, meaning they have their own life so they are not dependent on their parents. If, for example, at 21 years old they are still studying, it means they are not yet independent," she explained.

2. Tyna Kanna's Request

The requested amount of Rp 10 million per month is Tyna Kanna's request as the plaintiff. This request was finally granted by the Panel of Judges.

"Yes, the plaintiff requested to determine the maintenance cost for both children from the defendant in that amount, so it was granted," Taslimah concluded.

3. Officially Divorced

After going through a quite lengthy trial process, Kenang Mirdad and Tyna Kanna are finally officially divorced. The decision was read through e-court at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Tuesday (18/1).

"So, Alhamdulillah, today the examination process of the divorce lawsuit between Tyna Dwi Jayanti and Kenang Mirdad has been completed. This was marked by the reading of the decision through e-court today," said Zikri Muhammad Luthfi, Kenang Mirdad's legal representative.

"In essence, the verdict that we know is that Tyna Dwi Jayanti and Kenang Mirdad are divorced," he continued.

4. Custody Rights

The South Jakarta Religious Court has decided that custody of the child falls to Tyna Kanna. Kenang Mirdad has no problem with this as he is allowed to meet his children anytime.

"Then custody of the children is given to their mother, Dwi Jayanti," said Zikri Muhammad Luthfi.

"But that's not a problem for our client. Our client is still given the freedom to meet and the mother, in this case Dwi Jayanti, is not allowed to obstruct or deny access for our client to meet his children. And also to give the right to go on vacation or meet his children without any time limits," he continued.

5. Already Accepting

According to his legal representative, Kenang Mirdad has already accepted today's divorce verdict. However, he will consult with Kenang regarding the possibility of filing an appeal.

"We must accept it. Recently, we have become more accepting. So we have accepted it because we have no objections to the proceedings so far. But regarding this verdict, we will consult with our client whether there will be an appeal or not," he concluded.
