Officially Divorced, Arya Saloka and Putri Anne Must Be Present During the Talak Declaration Before the Panel of Judges

"So the declaration of divorce is explained here that the declaration will be executed after this decision has permanent legal force. Because this decision is in absentia, the content of the decision will be communicated first to the applicant," explained Suryana, spokesperson for the South Jakarta Religious Court, Wednesday (28/5/2025).

Arya Saloka must wait 14 days after receiving the copy of the decision. If there is no legal action from Princess Anne, the court will schedule the declaration of divorce.

"So if today the decision is read, then for the day after tomorrow, it will be sent. Now count 14 days, 14 days from when the applicant receives the decision. So on the 15th day after receiving this copy of the decision, that is when the court can determine when to schedule the divorce declaration hearing. So that's how the rules for permanent legal force work," said Suryana.

However, if one party does not attend, the court will issue another summons. The mechanism will follow the process like a regular trial.
