Often Called Spoiled Child, Here Are 10 Photos of Asila Maisa Emphasizing Being an Independent Only Child - Not All Desires Are Granted

As the only child of artist couple Ramzi and Avi Basalamah, young singer Asila Maisa often attracts attention. Netizens often speculate that her status as an only child makes her spoiled and able to get everything she wants.

In response to this, Asila firmly denies these accusations. She reveals that although she receives more attention from her parents, there are still limits that are applied.

"I’m not spoiled, really. There is a spoiled side, but there are definitely limits," said Asila when met in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, recently.

Asila also explained how her daily life at home is. She stated that not all of her wishes are granted by her parents. For her, what is given remains within reasonable limits.

"So not everything I want is fulfilled, just within reasonable limits," she said.

Even so, Asila feels very grateful for the support given by Ramzi and Avi Basalamah. This actually motivates her to give something meaningful to her parents through her hard work, especially in the music world.

"Honestly, everything happened without coercion. I am happy to receive treatment from my parents, but I have to be able to give more to them, through what I love and want," Asila explained.

Her success in the music world is proof that Asila is capable of achieving accomplishments with full support from her family. However, she also realizes that her parents' attention is often misinterpreted by children her age as a form of restriction.

At her coming-of-age age, Asila admits that her parents often feel worried about her social life and well-being.

The advice and attention given are often perceived by other young people as forms of annoying prohibitions.

“Because when I was little, I just went along with it because I didn’t understand. But now I have my own desires, I understand life, you know. Being guided actually helps me stay on the right path,” said Asila.

For Asila, parental concern is a form of love that should be appreciated. She also learns to understand that every attention given has a good purpose so that she remains on the right track.
