Singer Kris Dayanti was seen holding hands with her eldest daughter, Amora Lemos, at a fashion show event in Jakarta. The presence of this mother and daughter duo attracted attention as they appeared very harmonious and in sync while attending the fashion event.

Kris Dayanti explained that their attendance together with Amora was to support one of their friends who is a designer. Their togetherness at various events lately has indeed been frequent due to the shared social circle between mother and daughter.

"Well, it's because Amora's friend is really close, and then my friend's mom, so it just fits," said Kris Dayanti when met in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, Friday (1/5/2026).

Many people see the closeness between Kris Dayanti and Amora now like a pair of best friends. In fact, their fashionable appearances often lead others to think they have a very strong resemblance, like twins or siblings.

Amora is also aware of the public's judgment regarding her resemblance to her mother, who often appears stunning. She responds to this casually while mentioning the differences in physical backgrounds between herself and her mother.

"They say we look like siblings. This one is Caucasian, and this one is Javanese," explained Amora.

Although many assess her to be similar physically, Kris Dayanti expressed a different opinion about her daughter's personality. According to the singer of the song Menghitung Hari, Amora's character is actually more influenced by her father, Raul Lemos, especially in terms of discipline.

Kris Dayanti believes that each child is indeed a combination of both parents. As a mother, her role is to guide the talents and good traits that already exist in Amora to continue developing in a positive direction.

"Oh, if it’s about looks, she has that, but in terms of character and other traits, she takes after her husband more. But this is what always reminds us that children are half father and half mother. So everything is within the child. It’s just up to us to guide them. If it’s about discipline, she is more disciplined. Discipline in practice, discipline in being organized, and so on. Hopefully, it's all good," explained Kris Dayanti.
