Oki Setiana Dewi and Ria Ricis Proud of Their Mother Becoming the Oldest Al-Quran Memorizer Graduate

Kapanlagi.com - The condition of Yunifah Lismawati, the mother of artist Oki Setiana Dewi, has improved after experiencing a heart attack while performing the hajj. Yunifah appeared fresher when attending the XII Grand Graduation and the VII Anniversary of the Maskanul Huffadz Tahfidz Boarding School in 2023.

Apparently, Yunifah became one of the Al-Quran memorizer graduates and was also appointed as the oldest graduate at the age of 59. As a daughter, Oki Setiana Dewi feels proud to see her mother graduate.

"My mother is the oldest, she is 59 years old, she graduated with 15 juz," said Oki Setiana Dewi when met at Menara 165 on TB Simatupang Street, South Jakarta, Monday (11/9/2023).

"The tahfidz graduation is the most anticipated event for my mother. When my mother was in a coma, I encouraged her by saying that she had to attend this Quran graduation. My mother's struggle in learning the Quran is not over. She shed tears. That's when I knew that my mother would fight for her health because she still wants to be with the Quran in this world," Oki added.

1. Three Hours Every Day

To be able to memorize the Quran, Yunifah, Oki said, spends three hours every day. Of course, with the desired target of memorizing 30 juz.

"Before getting sick, usually seven hours of memorization. Earlier, my mother said. God willing, next year my mother will graduate for the last time memorizing the Quran," said Oki.

2. Full of Happiness

Ria Ricis, along with her husband, Teuku Ryan, and Dr. Shindy, were also seen attending the graduation of the person who gave birth to them.

"I am very happy, Alhamdulillah, because this is what my mother wants, for me to come to the graduation ceremony of the memorizers of the Quran. Masha Allah, I am very happy. Thank you and sorry for rushing," Ria Ricis concluded.

3. Advancing the Education of Indonesian Children

Various prizes were given at the event, such as umrah (pilgrimage), various scholarships for studying both domestically and abroad, and the sending of Quran teachers overseas.

"We not only want children who memorize the Quran, but also continue their education and see the world," Oki concluded.
