Oki Setiana Dewi Does Not Plan to Sell House in Indonesia, Even Though She Needs a Lot of Money to Live in Egypt

For the initial stage, Ria Ricis' sister will go to Egypt with her two daughters only. Meanwhile, her husband and two sons will still live in Indonesia.

Oki also emphasizes that even when her husband and two sons later join her in living in Egypt, she does not plan to sell her house in Indonesia. Oki will still return to Indonesia.

"My husband and two boys are still in Indonesia, while I, Maryam, and Khodijah are in Egypt," said Oki when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, recently.

"If later my husband and two boys come to Egypt, the house there will still be occupied," continued Ory Vitrio's wife.

Oki admitted that there are many preparations that need to be made in order to study abroad. One of them is financial preparation, which certainly requires a lot to live in a foreign country.

"First, financial preparation, because there we have to rent a house and of course, the kitchen must be equipped with two stoves," she said.

"Second, preparation of knowledge, mastering the Arabic language. Third, heart preparation. Because we have to move to a new place. But alhamdulillah, we didn't move suddenly, there has been preparation for several years, the children have often been brought back and forth to Egypt to become more familiar, every day we have discussed moving to Egypt, so we're not surprised," said Oki.

3. Not Without Reason

Oki chose Egypt as a place to seek knowledge not without reason. There, it is indeed a well-known place to study and deepen the knowledge of Islam.

"Firstly, because it was the first country I visited during KCB. Moreover, there is a campus in Egypt that we aim for, there are so many Indonesians there, and we also have a branch of Ulumul Quran in Egypt," Oki concluded.
