To Complete His Latest Song Titled 'Ramadhan Penuh Cinta', Budi Doremi Consults with Scholars

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Budi Doremi has released his latest religious single titled Ramadhan Penuh Cinta. This is the first time for him to write a song with a Ramadan theme.

When met at Kapanlagi Youniverse, Central Jakarta, on Monday (25/3), Budi Doremi explained that this song carries a strong Malay theme. He did this because he wanted to bring back the atmosphere of Ramadan in the 90s.

"We adopt a Malay concept, a classic Malay model, and the result is quite satisfying because when it reaches the hearts and ears of the listeners, they can feel the atmosphere of Ramadan in the 90s again," said Budi Doremi.

1. Feeling the Pressure

However, Budi Doremi still feels the pressure when working on this song. Because he doesn't want to cross the line as a singer.

The line he means is that Budi doesn't want to imply excessive messages in the song Ramadhan Penuh Cinta. In order to do this, Budi Doremi even consulted with local scholars or religious leaders.

"I'm afraid of crossing the line because I was entrusted by my parents that each person has their own expertise, and we shouldn't just grab it. And here I realize that as a musician, I can only play on the surface," he said.

"(Consulting with scholars?) Yes, it must be done and it's safe to say," he added.

3. Hope with This New Song

In addition, Budi Doremi also has hopes for his first Ramadan single. He hopes that in the future his children can tell their grandchildren that he once created a song for this blessed month.

"Hopefully this song becomes a monument for our family. If my children remember when I'm no longer here, they can tell their grandchildren that their father once made a song for Ramadan," he said.
