Ramadan Moment, Raissa Ramadhani Releases 'Can't Replace Him', Story About Disappointment Towards Partner

Kapanlagi.com - In this holy month of Ramadan, Raissa Ramadhani releases a new single titled Can't Replace Him. This single can already be heard on all digital music platforms on March 22, 2024.

Still staying in the pop ballad genre, Can't Replace Him tells the story of disappointment when finding out that the person she loves still can't let go of their past.

"My latest single tells the story of a person in a relationship that initially went perfectly, as they wanted. But, in the middle of the journey, they find out that their partner still has unfinished business with their past," said Raissa when met in Jakarta recently.

"Whether it's still holding feelings for their ex or there are unresolved issues. So, all the feelings overflow here, like disappointment, sadness, and surprise," she continued.

In this single, Raissa also wrote the lyrics and gave input on the song's theme. She didn't expect to be involved to such an extent in this song. According to her, the song created by Reza Husein and Fahzar Adha is already very good.

Finally, Raissa provides a different perspective so that this song becomes more relatable to the dating style of young people today. After going through various creative processes, this song can finally be released very well under the umbrella of Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia (SMEI).

"Finally, after communicating and getting approval from the A&R team and the two writers, I changed the theme of this song and adjusted the lyrics accordingly. I didn't change much because the song was already good from the beginning. There is always a worry because I'm afraid that the Sony Music team, Mas Reza, and Mas Fahzar won't like my lyrics, that the writing is not as expected, or that it's not suitable to be heard. But, I have done my best and hopefully the people who listen to it will like it," said Raissa.

Tak Bisa Gantikannya is the fourth single from Raissa. Since releasing her first single with SMEI titled Berpisah Lebih Indah in 2022, Raissa admitted that her career journey has been very memorable. She never expected to be at this point with four singles. However, Raissa is not satisfied. She wants to continue creating the best works to continue coloring Indonesian music.

"The release of this fourth song is clearly a great achievement for me. Since the beginning of joining Sony Music and releasing the first single, I have been thinking about what my music career will be like in the future and what the journey will be like. Even though it's already the fourth single, this is not even halfway because my journey is still long," she explained.

"I hope this song will find a place in the hearts of Indonesian music lovers and entertain them when they listen to it. I also hope that you will never get tired of accompanying my journey and always support my music career because there is still a lot that I want to do and achieve," she concluded.
