She also regrets Gunawan's lack of good faith and failure to ask for permission before taking their child's car. The latest news about Gunawan Dwi Cahyo's reason for pawning their child's car, Miro, is due to his current unfavorable economic condition.
Through his legal representative, Sunan Kalijaga, Gunawan Dwi Cahyo explained that he needs money for personal needs, including the cost of the operation.
"He (Gunawan Dwi Cahyo) is currently in a limited financial condition, he needs money for personal needs such as the operation he underwent. Because there is no income and he hasn't been working, that's why he pawned the car," said Sunan Kalijaga as quoted by KapanLagi.com via Beritasatu.com, Sunday (30/6/2024).
Gunawan also stated that he has asked for permission from Okie Agustina, his ex-wife, to pawn the car for the sake of the operation and his health.
Sunan Kalijaga added that the issue between Gunawan and Okie is just a communication problem, and they are currently seeking the best solution.
However, Okie Agustina feels that she was not informed beforehand and filed a legal notice because she was upset that the car, which was supposed to be for her child, was taken without her knowledge.
The car has been pawned since March 2024, two months after their divorce on January 8, 2024. Okie Agustina also demands that Gunawan return the car because it is her child's car and has been decided by the court for Miro's needs.
No settlement has been reached between Okie Agustina and Gunawan Dwi Cahyo regarding the issue of pawning their child's car, Miro. Okie Agustina is still demanding the return of the car.
Okie Agustina is ready to report Gunawan to the police if the legal notice she has filed is not returned. However, there is no information yet on whether this issue will be resolved through a family settlement or through legal proceedings.
