Olivia Nathania Files Installment Compensation Scheme for Bogus CPNS Case, Victims Disappointed

In the mediation process, one of the victims named Agustin revealed that he, along with his legal counsel, had met with the lawyer for Olivia Nathania. "We met earlier and sadly, the compensation amount of Rp 8.1 billion can only be paid in installments by Olivia Nathania," said Agustin at the South Jakarta District Court, Jalan Ampera Raya, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (1/4).

The victim's legal counsel, Odie Hudiyanto, assessed that the proposed installment is relatively small compared to the total losses that must be paid to the victims. "That is sadly what makes us cry, the child of a celebrity in this country can only fulfill his obligations by paying Rp 7 million per month," added Odie Hudiyanto.

Furthermore, Odie revealed that if using that installment scheme, the time needed to settle all obligations would take decades. This is considered unreasonable for the victims who demand justice in a quicker timeframe.

The disappointment was also felt directly by Agustin as a victim. He admitted that he was not sure he could wait that long to get his rights back, considering the uncertain conditions in the future. "I don't even know if I'll be alive next year. Honestly, I'm really disappointed," added Agustin, the Oi victim.

The victim's side has also proposed alternative solutions in the mediation. "We asked for that earlier and on April 10, 2026, we want the first stage to be paid. So calculate it yourself, IDR 8.1 billion divided by 12 months, how much per month, please. But we ask for just one year," explained Odie Hudiyanto.

In addition, the victims also hope that Olivia Nathania can better understand the conditions of the victims, some of whom have passed away without having the chance to get their money back. "I hope there is justice for us, that's what I ask for," said Agustin.

On the other hand, Olivia Nathania's attorney, Wendo Batserin, explained that his client has financial limitations and can only make installment payments. He emphasized that there are no assets that can be used to settle the entire claim at once.

"Mrs. Olivia can only settle by making an initial payment of Rp 100 million in the first stage, and the remaining amount will be paid in installments of Rp 7.5 million to Rp 10 million at least every month," explained Wendo Batserin.

The total loss to be paid by Oi is confirmed by Wendo to be Rp 615 million, not Rp 8.1 billion, in accordance with the contents of the civil lawsuit from the victims. He also explained why Rp 615 million is their reference. "Why Rp 615 million? That is what is stated in the previous criminal sentence and has permanent legal force," said Wendo Batserin.
