On Her 36th Birthday, Puput Carolina Officially Becomes a Professional DJ

Kapanlagi.com - Coinciding with her 36th birthday, Puput Carolina officially announced that she is transitioning from a chef to a professional DJ. She made the announcement at Patron, Serpong BSD.

Puput explained that this important decision stemmed from her love for music since she was a child. She mentioned that she has long been involved in the entertainment world as a model, music video star, and commercial actress.

1. Loves Music Since Childhood

"I've actually loved music for a long time, but due to my busy schedule with modeling, music videos, and commercials, and during COVID I focused more on business. My child is also learning DJing, initially I was just a producer, but eventually I learned and realized that a producer should be able to present their own songs," Puput revealed.

She added that her learning process to become a DJ has progressed quite quickly since she started focusing on it last July.

2. From Stove to DJ Equipment

"Because it's a hobby, my soul has been there. So from the stove, I switched to DJ equipment," she said with a smile.

Puput admitted that the biggest challenge in her transition process was the change in public perception of her.

"People used to know me as a chef, now people know me as 'oh, a DJ now?' There hasn't been any exposure as a statement, so today I'm making an official statement that I've changed professions," she explained.

On the same occasion, Puput also launched Patron Management and a DJ School located in her café, Patron.

4. Many Genres

"I'm launching Patron Management because I'm now serious about music with my partner. We're creating a private one-on-one DJ School. There are many genres in the DJ world, and we want to help kids find their favorite genre," she said.

She mentioned that she has performed at various major venues, both domestically and internationally.

5. Preparing the Next Single

"I once played in Ibiza, in Amsterdam with Reza Arab and the gang, then at a big festival in Indonesia and several big clubs in Jakarta," she said.

Currently, Puput has released her debut song titled Not Tonight with a techno house genre and English lyrics. She is also working on her next piece titled Bali, which highlights Indonesian culture with a touch of gamelan music.

6. Channeling Longing

Completing her long journey in the entertainment world, Puput admits she wants to channel her longing for the world of music art again.

"I want to live healthily, remain happy, supported by friends, have a smooth fortune, and for Patron Management to go well, as well as family relationships," she hopes.
