Sarwendah's Fear of Being Approached by Debt Collectors is Real, Legal Counsel

In the midst of her household turmoil, Sarwendah is said to be experiencing real fear due to being approached by a debt collector. Her legal counsel, Chris Sam Siwu, emphasized that their purpose in speaking to the media about this matter is purely to protect Sarwendah.

The legal counsel also wants to ensure that similar incidents do not happen again. According to Chris, Sarwendah's status as a housewife makes her very vulnerable and afraid to face such situations, especially since it could impact the psychology of the children at home.

He denied the allegation that the disclosure of this issue was intended to discredit Ruben Onsu.

"I emphasize, first, that regarding the debt collector, our purpose in communicating, yes, once again, our purpose in communicating to the media regarding the debt collector is only one: so that our client, Sarwendah, is not visited by debt collectors anymore. That is our goal," emphasized Chris Sam Siwu when met in the Cilandak area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (19/11/2025).

The Sarwendah party felt the need to clarify that their client has no legal relationship whatsoever with the bank or the debt collectors that came. This is what prompted them to speak up through the media, as the only way for their message to be conveyed.

"Why are we conveying this to the media? Because first, our client has no legal relationship with the bank and no legal relationship with the debt collector," explained Sarwendah's attorney.

"So how do we convey that they should not come? Well, through me, I convey that our client should no longer be visited by debt collectors," he continued.

Chris added that the fear experienced by his client is something real and not fabricated.

"Our client is a housewife, our client is a woman. Very, very scared. So, it is real. Our client's fear of the arrival of debt collectors is real," he concluded.
