Before embarking on a career in entertainment, he taught from 2003 to 2020. However, with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ivan was forced to close his teaching place, which became a turning point in his career.

In an interview, Ivan revealed that although many people do not believe he was ever an educator, that experience helped shape him into a better person.

"I have actually been a math teacher from 2003 to 2020. I had a place to teach, but unfortunately at the beginning of the pandemic, I had to decide to close it," said Ivan Kabul as reported by Insertlive.

He started his career in entertainment by actively accepting offers to act in films and MTV programs. In addition, Ivan also founded a social movement called School of Stars, which offers free public speaking training online for anyone.
