Kapanlagi.com - Since reaching adulthood, Baim Cilik has not acted on screen again. He is now more focused on business and resides in Malang. However, Baim expressed his desire to return to the entertainment industry after experiencing serious conflict with his biological father, Halil Fuad.
It started when Baim revealed that he had not been supported by his father. In fact, he has been blocked since 2022, making communication impossible.
In his statement, Baim mentioned that the money he earned from shooting since he was a child, amounting to Rp 32.4 billion, was taken by his father. Nevertheless, Baim is now more focused on continuing his life.
"I have felt my money again. I have no idea where the remaining assets went, and I can count them on my fingers, there are two left even though one has been sold, there are two in Jakarta, one has been sold, and there is still one in Malang. The point is that what I am doing now is starting from scratch again," he said in the Cipete area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (11/9/2024).
Baim also has a desire to return to a career in the entertainment industry. He last acted in the film KHANZA 2 (2014).
"I also want to go back to entertainment, but I have to take it step by step again. I have to start from the beginning, and I want to, I mean, I have no pressure at all, I have no rejection," said Baim as quoted by Kompas.com, on Wednesday (11/9/2024).
He wants to prove to his father that he can succeed without depending on him. Baim also emphasized that he does not demand the return of the money.
"I accept that if I really have to start from 0, I want to. I want to prove it to my father," concluded Baim Alkatiri.
"Because I went to a pesantren, first. At that time, after I finished at the pesantren, I once said I didn’t want to enter entertainment and honestly, I really regret that," said Baim.
"Because honestly, I still want to enter entertainment," he continued.
