Online School, Arsy Anang Hermansyah Misses Friends and Teachers

For the past year, the six-year-old child has been doing online schooling. Like other children, during online school, Arsy cannot meet his school friends.

As parents, Anang understands very well that his child already misses face-to-face school, so he can meet friends and teachers.

"Well, actually Arsy misses his friends. Indeed, in my explanation, Arsy misses his friends, 'yes, miss my friends, miss my friends, miss the teacher'. We never know when this pandemic will end," said Anang Hermansyah in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta, on Monday (28/7/2021).

1. Playing with Same-Age Friends

Currently, Arsy is 6 years old. Anang understands that at Arsy's age, he needs fun things, including playing with his friends.

Playing can be done anywhere, whether at home or at school.

Arsy looks enthusiastic when playing with children of the same age. Of course, this can also train him to socialize with peers.

"Because at Arsy's age, the most fun thing is playing with his friends," said Anang.

2. The Importance of Parental Role

The role of parents is crucial when children are attending online school. This is also what Anang Hermansyah does.

Anang admits that every day he has to motivate his child so that he doesn't feel lazy to study. This is because his child is not lazy during the pandemic.

"We continue to build his enthusiasm for school until today, it's not a problem. But it's not as good as when he can go to school. We should always support him no matter what the situation is," said Anang.

"We explain that the pandemic is not over yet. But if we keep talking about facing the computer all the time, of course, there won't be any changes in a year," Anang concluded.
