Open Warung Business, Abdul Rozak Ayu Ting Ting's Father Always Consistently Directly Involved

Kapanlagi.com - After deciding to retire from his job as a civil servant, Abdul Rozak, father of singer Ayu Ting Ting, decided to open a restaurant business called Warung Ayah Rojak. The Betawi-concept restaurant provides various menus, ranging from pecak ikan mas, pecak ikan nila, to the most popular sambal pecak.

In running his business, Ayah Rozak is directly involved in overseeing his restaurant. In fact, especially for sambal pecak, Ayah Rozak personally prepares and provides it for customers.

"Almost every day here (at the warung), luckily he is the one who cooks, especially for sambal pecak, he is the one who cooks it," said Amel, who is an admin and cashier at Ayah Rojak restaurant, when met in Depok, West Java, on Wednesday (7/2).

According to Amel, Father Rozak is a person who cannot stay still, even though his task is only to monitor as an owner. But, he still helps when his place is crowded with visitors.

"Sometimes he also helps with frying, because he can't stay still, so he should only control, monitor, but he still helps with cooking, serving in the kitchen," said Amel.

"For cooking, usually Father fries chili sauce, especially spicy rice, that's specially made by Father," Amel continued.

2. Always Directly Involved

Ayah Rojak's stall itself was only opened in August 2023. From the beginning of selling, Father Rozak consistently directly involves himself in managing his new business, even making menus that are specially made by himself.

According to Amel, the sambal pecak made by Father Rozak has a distinctive characteristic that makes consumers addicted and want to taste it again. One of them is comedian Bopak Castello who becomes a regular customer there.

"For its distinctive characteristic, it is soupy, spicy, sour, and refreshing," explained Amel.

"Bopak often comes here with others, I don't remember their names but they come often," Amel concluded.
