Ustaz Riza Muhammad provided an explanation when contacted by phone on Monday (5/10). He said that Celine is currently learning about Islam and has not yet decided to convert.
"Not yet, first of all, I wouldn't ask before it comes from her heart. I don't want it to seem like she's being invited or forced, so I want it to come from her own self if that feeling truly exists. But so far, she's still in the process of learning about Islam," said Ustaz Riza.
"She's very serious when I'm giving the religious study, both she and Stefan really pay attention to what is conveyed, they're completely focused. Unlike others, sometimes there are those who joke around, but she's very focused, even the ones who actively ask questions are the two of them," he added.
The Ustaz, who is also the husband of Indri Giana, revealed that Celine might have the intention to convert to Islam. This is because Celine's mother is a Muslim.
"She is a good person, because I see Celine and Stefan as a married couple, they are really good people. If I look at Celine, the opportunity is great because her mother is a Muslim, from Makassar. So maybe from the way she talks, it's strong," he said.

Furthermore, Ustaz Riza revealed that the mother of four always wears a hijab when meeting him. The Ustaz also couldn't stop praising the goodness that Celine has done.
"Yes, because from the beginning when we met, she wore a hijab, a modest hijab, not just covering a little. That's why I was a little surprised, because her appearance used to be different, but this is not just a headscarf, it's a hijab, she is a really good person," he said.
