Peppy Portraits Dive into Becoming a Music Festival Promoter, Reveals Personal Mission Behind GENFest 2025

The GENFest 2025 event is guaranteed to be one of the most unique music festivals this year. Carrying the theme Different But Singing, this event will be held for two days, June 28-29, 2025, at AEON Mall Deltamas, Parking Zone F, featuring a lineup of musicians across genres and generations.

Juicy Luicy, Rizky Febian, Mocca, For Revenge, Last Child, and Idol All Stars are confirmed to perform. Even unique collaborations such as Peppy ft. Gen Berkaraoke and Gusti Irwan Wibowo ft. Orkes Nunung CS are promised to be an extraordinary treat. Check out the complete snapshots below!

"Usually I just go on stage and go home, but now I have to be ready from scratch. Every detail, no matter how small, must be considered. This is really a new experience for me," said Peppy, who is now behind the scenes as part of Newpro Entertainment.

Peppy admits that the experience of being a festival promoter is not an easy task. He has to understand many technical aspects, ranging from waste management, sound systems, lighting, to permits.

"This is a unique art, a new experience for me. It's my obsession because I failed at being in a band. I still don't have a band until now, so I thought, why not just create a band festival instead," he said while laughing.

Peppy also admits that he feels nervous facing this challenge. Nevertheless, the support from Gen FM and the Newpro team makes him confident that the event will run smoothly.   "I am nervous, I’m not lying. But this is the right moment; I suddenly met Gen FM, so we support each other," he said.

Newpro was officially formed just before GENFest. However, all legal processes have been completed and Peppy stated that their team is ready for the upcoming major events.

"The desire for this has been long, still floating around. But this feels like destiny. We will definitely meet again at the next event," he said enthusiastically.

Andika Januar, Project Manager of GENFest, added that this festival also serves as a space for the emergence of new stars. "Several graduates from Indonesian Idol will perform together in Idol All Stars. We want to make GENFest a place for new stars to grow," he explained.
