The toddler child of celebrity Aghnia Punjabi became a victim of assault by her nurse or caregiver. The criminal act of assault is allegedly committed by a Domestic Worker (PRT) in Malang City.
The perpetrator assaulted the toddler under her care, causing bruising on the face and several other parts of the body.Â
The included CCTV footage in the post also shows the said Domestic Worker committing the assault on the child. The assault took place in a bedroom believed to be the employer's house.Â
Based on the Instagram post from @emyaghnia, the child's face appears to be dark around the eyes. Additionally, it is red around the ears.
"Update, alhamdulillah @polrestamalangkotaofficial is currently handling this case quickly, pray for smooth progress and that the suspect receives appropriate punishment," continued the post below.
"It should be known that I have never had any problems with Sus I before, it seems that the younger sibling doesn't know how they were abused! I adopted them from a well-known foundation in Surabaya, even throughout Indonesia knows about this foundation that I won't mention," concluded the post.
Meanwhile, the Malang Kota Police have confirmed that they are currently handling the case. The suspect is currently undergoing questioning in the investigator's room at the Malang Kota Police station.
"The matter of a nurse abusing the employer's child is being handled by the PPA Unit of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Malang Kota Police and the perpetrator has been apprehended," said Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto, the Malang Kota Police Chief, on Friday (29/03).
The police are still unable to provide much information as the investigation process is still ongoing. The case is planned to be released tomorrow.
