Director Chris Pattikawa passed away on Wednesday (1/1) yesterday. Chris's departure is certainly sad news for many people. Chris Pattikawa's body is currently being laid to rest at Heaven Funeral House, Pluit, North Jakarta.
A number of family members are at the funeral house, including his wife, Rina Hasyim, and Cantika Abigail, who is his granddaughter.

His deteriorating condition led Chris Pattikawa to undergo treatment for several days at the hospital.
Cantika said that her grandfather passed away around 5 am (1/1). Cantika heard Chris in pain while she was on the phone with her mother.
"At exactly 12 o'clock, I called my mom, wished her a happy new year, then I heard grandpa in pain, he couldn't explain his pain clearly, he couldn't talk much," Cantika said when met on Thursday (2/1).
Chris Pattikawa's funeral is planned to be held on Saturday (4/1).
