Awan's departure has made Gisel sad, especially since the assistant refused to be visited when in the hospital. Before passing away, Awan was admitted to the ICU but unfortunately, his life could not be saved.
Awan Nugroho, Gisella Anastasia's assistant, passed away due to illness. Awan passed away recently and Gisel announced it on Saturday, January 27, 2024, through her Instagram account.
Gisel visited Awan at his resting place before being taken home by his family to Semarang. Along with some friends, she came to the funeral home where Awan was laid to rest.
Gisel revealed that Awan was sick and had been treated in the ICU. However, when they were about to transfer him to another hospital, Awan refused even though all preparations had been made.
Awan also refused to be visited while lying in the hospital. Now Gisel regrets why she followed Awan's request and did not insist on visiting her assistant at the hospital.
Awan and Gisel have been working together for 8 years. During that time, they exchanged jokes and complaints with each other.
Gisel revealed that Awan has been unconscious since Monday, January 22nd. She regrets not being there during the assistant's final moments at the hospital.
Gisel admitted that she doesn't want to cry anymore for Awan. Because she believes that the assistant is now in the best place with God. However, tears still fall when she sees Awan being dried by the mortician, and she will remember that moment.
Gisel accompanied the late Awan to the funeral home in Jakarta, and then the family will bring Awan to Semarang for burial.
