Kapanlagi.com - The husband of singer Pinkan Mambo, Steve Wantania, is currently serving a sentence for his actions against his stepdaughter, MA, in a case of sexual harassment. The case has been tried in the Tangerang District Court and he has received a 9-year prison sentence.
Until now, Steve has spent three years behind bars. Pinkan says that her status is still hanging and they have not divorced yet.
"I have been a widow for three years since he (was imprisoned). I am a widow but I don't have any documents, just a hanging widow," said Pinkan Mambo in Tendean, South Jakarta, on Monday (31/7/2023).
"I don't feel like a wife. If I'm in trouble, I'm alone. I often almost die on the streets, I have to find a place to stay by myself. So please don't kill my character," Pinkan added.
Regarding the case involving MA, her child, Pinkan admitted that she does not know the details of the abuse incident. However, she firmly denies the accusations that she did not defend her child.
"I don't know what happened, because I'm not God who knows everything. Then he told me, I was shocked. Imagine how tragic it was. I don't want to talk about it, but that incident destroyed me," said Pinkan.

After the incident, the former duet partner of Maia Estianty expelled her husband from their home. However, Pinkan cannot prevent Steve from meeting their child.
"I told him, 'Anyway, when daddy comes home, you know his car, go straight to your room, lock the door.' But there is one story within that story that I can't tell here, there is something else. I will stop there. After all, we have to respect the court that has handled everything," she concluded.
