Play the Role of a Disciplined Person in 'Crazy Teachers', Gading Marten Draws Many Lessons

Kapanlagi.com - Gading Marten reveals the character he plays in his latest film, Crazy Teachers. In the film, which will premiere on August 17, 2020 on Netfilx, Gading plays a teacher named Taat Pribadi.

In a recent virtual press conference, the winner of the Citra Award for Best Actor in 2018 revealed about the character he played.

"I played the role of Taat Pribadi, a character who pursues his dreams with money as his only goal. So he measures success in terms of money," said Gading Marten.

Gading said, the movie CRAZY TEACHERS teaches a lot about life. According to the 38-year-old actor, this film teaches the audience that teachers are also human beings who have many problems in their lives. 

"Teachers are also humans, with their own limitations. So all the children entrusted to school, their teachers also consider these children not only as someone they are paid for, given lessons, but already considered as their own children as well, and every teacher surely wants their students to succeed," he said.

Portraying the role of a history teacher, Gading Marten also delivers a message to the audience of the movie GURU-GURU GOKIL. 

"So, let's go back to history, so that we can be grateful to the teachers who have taught us, and never forget your teachers wherever they are!"

GURU-GURU GOKIL tells the journey of a person named Taat Pribadi who becomes a teacher due to certain circumstances. Although he used to hate this profession, over time, Taat begins to discover the meaning of being a teacher. 

This movie, produced by BASE Entertainment and marks Dian Sastrowardoyo's directorial debut, started airing on Netflix coinciding with the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, on August 17, 2020.
