In response to this, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Iskandarsyah, issued a firm warning. He urged the public and media personnel not to spread unverified information (misinformation).

"Right now I also try to respect Sister LL. Here we are still in mourning. So I hope my colleagues do not provide misinformation to the public that could lead to assumptions that will create negative perspectives," he urged when met at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Monday, (26/1/2026).

The police emphasize that the focus of the investigation should be based on concrete evidence in the field, not on rumors circulating in the online world. Any assumptions about the involvement of a "circle" of friends or other allegations must be set aside if not supported by facts.

"So I think we should return to the crime scene. That is where we can uncover what really happened," asserted Iskandarsyah.
