Police Statement Regarding Chandrika Chika's Possible Involvement as a Suspect in the Alleged Assault Case of Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino

Therefore, the South Jakarta Police need to obtain a statement from Chika for the purpose of developing the case reported by the victim of the assault, Nuralamsyah.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Police, AKBP Ridwan Soplanit stated that Chika will be questioned as a witness at the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police on Thursday (20/4/2022).

"So I inform you that Chika's questioning will be on Thursday at 1:00 PM. She will be questioned as a witness, where based on previous statements from witnesses at the time, Chika was present at the crime scene," said AKBP Ridwan Soplanit at the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police on Wednesday (20/4/2022).

So far, Chika is still a witness in the case involving Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino. When asked if Chika could be a suspect in the incident, Ridwan Soplanit could not confirm it.

"We will see if she is part of the problem, that's why we will follow up on it," said Ridwan Soplanit.

2. Chika Was at the Scene

What is certain is that Ridwan confirmed that when the assault occurred, Chika was at the scene. This is based on the statements of the victim and witnesses who were previously questioned by investigators.

"Yes, the victim stated that Chika was there. If Chika's statement has been provided later, we will determine whether further chronology needs to be explored or not, based on her statement," said Ridwan Soplanit.

3. Assault Case

For information, Putra Siregar and artist Rico Valentino were arrested by the police for alleged assault. Both are suspected of assaulting Nuralamsyah, a resident of South Jakarta, on March 2, 2022.

After experiencing the assault, the victim gave Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino time to apologize. Unfortunately, they did not apologize, and Nurmalamsyah eventually made a police report on March 11, 2022, at the South Jakarta Metro Police Station.
