Police Visum Results Revealed, Mystery of Blue Color on the Late Lina Jubaedah's Fingers Uncovered

After the visum was conducted, today the Bandung City Police revealed the results. The doctor who examined Lina's body confirmed that there was nothing unusual about the blue color caused by the bruise.

"So the most important thing in this case is actually a misunderstanding about bruises. So maybe it is thought that the bruise is caused by slipping. Because we often mistakenly assume that a bruise is the same as a bruise, when in fact they are different. Bruises are a normal occurrence after a person's death. And it usually appears about 20 - 30 minutes after death," said the doctor at the press conference location, Friday (31/1).

1. Hypoxia

"Why does bruising occur? It occurs in an area supplied by capillaries, and the flow is stopped due to death. And it gives discoloration to the skin. Normally, the color is red-purple, bluish. And it will become darker if there is a mechanism of hypoxia. It means before death occurs, there is a phase where the oxygen level is low and the sugar level increases," he continued.

Furthermore, the doctor also explained the difference between bruising and bruising. "While bruising is the bursting of blood vessels under the skin usually caused by violence. And its appearance is very different," he explained.

2. Normal Occurrence in Death

The doctor also explained that bruising on a corpse can spread due to various reasons. And it is very normal to happen to a human body that has died.

"As for the bruising that forms wider and darker, it is due to various mechanisms of death. It can happen on the face, chest. If it is hypoxia, it can happen on the lips or nails. So what is found on the corpse is not bruising. We have examined whether there is any blood coming out, there is none. This is bruising, not bruising, and it is normal to occur in people who have died," he explained.
