Several years ago, Alyssa Daguise expressed her desire to perform the Umrah pilgrimage with her mother before she got married. She shared that moment through her personal Instagram.
Alyssa reminisced about their conversation, "Mom... one day when I get the call from Allah for Umrah, will you come with me? Just the two of us, like you and Grandma; mother & daughter." In her prayers, Alyssa hopes that this journey can become a special moment, mirroring her family’s tradition.

In the same post, Alyssa also expressed her deep gratitude because her wish to perform Umrah with her beloved mother was granted by Allah SWT.
"Alhamdulillah... my prayer to visit Baitullah for the first time with my beloved mother has been answered by Allah SWT. And the timing is just perfect," wrote Alyssa. This Umrah journey has become the realization of a dream she has long spoken of.

In addition to performing her first umrah with her mother, Alyssa was also given the opportunity to perform a second umrah in honor of her beloved late grandmother.
"With God's permission, I was able to perform the second umrah on the day of Isra Mi"raj for my dear late Oma," Alyssa expressed. This journey symbolizes her love for her grandmother who has passed away.

Alyssa did not forget to express her longing for her grandmother who has passed away. In her prayers, she conveyed her best wishes for the deceased.
She wrote, "We miss you so much Oma. It must be so beautiful there... Al-Fatihah." Through this act of worship, Alyssa feels closer to the figure of her grandmother whom she loves dearly.

Not only focusing on herself, Alyssa also prays that everyone may be granted ease to worship in the holy land.
"May it be a worship accepted by Allah SWT, which can give us abundant rewards and call us again and again," Alyssa hopes. She also added, "May friends be eased in their journey to Baitullah, Aamiin."
The second Umrah was performed as a tribute and prayer for her grandmother on the day of Isra Mi'raj.
The umrah pilgrimage is a manifestation of gratitude, respect, and spiritual reflection for Alyssa.
