Held today, Thursday (31/8), the trial with the agenda of reading the indictment regarding Ammar Zoni's drug abuse case was postponed again because the Public Prosecutor's Office (JPU) is not yet ready to deliver a definite indictment to Irish Bella's husband.
Ammar Zoni also appeared disappointed with the outcome of the hearing. In addition, he also seemed restless during the hearing.
Not without reason, it turns out Ammar has just received news that his father is sick, so his younger brother, Aditya Zoni, has to accompany his father to the hospital.
This was revealed by Ammar Zoni's lawyer, Abdullah Emile Oemar Alamudy. "Oh, earlier he (Ammar) called Adit, his father was sick, Adit took his father to the hospital," he said.
"Maybe that's why, he became restless, he heard the news. Before I entered the courtroom, Adit called and said, 'Brother, I can't come to the trial because I have to take my father to the hospital'," he added explaining why Ammar appeared restless in the courtroom.
It is not clear what illness Ammar Zoni's father is suffering from. But what is certain, his legal counsel hopes that there is no serious illness and he will recover quickly.
"Well, I'm not sure, but there are complaints until he was taken to the hospital. I don't know whether to a doctor or to the hospital. Insha Allah, hopefully it's not serious. Hopefully nothing bad happens. Maybe the father is just stressed," he concluded.
Meanwhile, Ammar Zoni's trial is scheduled to resume on September 7th.
