Portrait of Danang 'The Comment' Known to be Bankrupt After a Long Silence, This is the Main Cause

Dimas Danang Suryonegoro or better known as Danang 'The Comment' is known for his duet with Imam Darto on the show The Comment. After disappearing for a long time, it turns out Danang mentioned that he is now bankrupt.

So, what caused Danang to go bankrupt? Find out more here.

Through the Kasisolusi podcast, Danang mentioned that he used to run a business in the form of an agency. At that time, he was very optimistic that his business would succeed.

He then tried to emulate the concept of agencies in the South Korean entertainment industry, where a company oversees multiple talents at once.

"I fell for the agency system like in Korea, because I felt that Indonesia has a lot of talented people but very few of them are in the spotlight. That's why SamiSami Creative exists," said Danang as quoted by Youtube Kasisolusi.

Unfortunately, the business failed and he went bankrupt. Danang admitted that one of the reasons for his bankruptcy was his lack of knowledge about business.

He gave an example of a case regarding his company's revenue. Danang entrusted the management of his business revenue to someone else he trusted, instead of managing it himself.

Although occasionally looking at financial reports, apparently Danang admitted that he does not fully understand. “I see (the report), but I don't understand,” he continued.

After experiencing bankruptcy, Danang tried to rise again by building a podcast on Youtube titled Keluh. Through his Instagram, Danang announced that he would resume the podcast that had previously been hindered.

“Thank you to everyone involved behind the scenes, starting from Keluh's first season and especially the second season. For those who are working on something and haven't finished yet, believe, create, keep going, even if it's slow, keep going! And, it's hard to type... but... be patient! Your work will find its own way,” concluded Danang.
