Today the family held the funeral procession for Ray Sahetapy, Friday (4/4). Located at TPU Tanah Kusir, Jakarta, Ray's funeral was attended by family, including his ex-wife, Dewi Yull.
Even though they have been divorced for 21 years, Dewi still maintains family ties with Ray's family. For Dewi, Ray is still the father of her children, and for that reason, she made sure to attend Ray's funeral.
Dewi Yull attended Ray Sahetapy's funeral held at TPU Tanah Kusir, Jakarta, today, Friday (4/4). She wore all white attire to the funeral of her ex-husband.
Dewi's presence was welcomed by Ray's relatives who were already at the location. Although they have been divorced for 21 years, Dewi still maintains a good relationship with Ray's family.
Ray's family provided a special seat for Dewi. Her status as an ex-wife did not make Dewi hesitate to join Ray's family.
Dewi herself revealed that no matter what, Ray is the father of her children. Although their divorce in 2004 was intense and filled with tears, Dewi has forgiven Ray.
Dewi's presence was confirmed by relatives since yesterday, Thursday (3/4). Dewi's child ensured that their mother would accompany Ray to his temporary resting place.
The body of the late Ray will be temporarily buried at TPU Tanah Kusir. Later, the family will move Ray's body to Palu, in accordance with the late's wishes before passing away.
During Ray's funeral procession, Dewi appeared strong. She let go of Ray with prayers alongside family.
