Since a few weeks ago, Diego, the son of Darius Sinathrya and Donna Agnesia, has been participating in the U-16 national team selection in Yogyakarta. However, Diego must now accept the fact that he did not qualify to participate in the AFF Cup championship.
Darius and Donna also provide support and encouragement to their son so that he does not feel too sad about the results of this selection. Diego is still young, the future is still long, and new hopes can be realized.
When called to enter the U-16 national team training center projected for the AFF Cup, Diego was very happy. He tried his best to be able to pass the selection.
Only 23 people were brought by the U-16 national team to the AFF Cup. Unfortunately, Diego was not among the 23 who successfully passed.
Although Diego failed to pass the U-16 national team selection, Darius did not lose heart. He gave encouragement to his son through a post on Instagram.
"A valuable journey and experience for Diego to have the opportunity to be selected and continue with the TC program for almost 2 months, training with the best young talents with a very intense program," said Darius.
"Diego's journey with the U-16 national team in AFF may have ended, but Diego's football career still stretches long, only one choice, to continue practicing and forging oneself to become better and better!" Darius continued.
Darius also gave his prayers to the U-16 national team who will compete in the AFF Cup. He also expressed his gratitude to the U-16 national team coach for giving his son the opportunity to undergo the selection process.
For Diego, Darius emphasized that his son's future is still long. He and Donna will always provide support to Diego no matter what happens.
Stay strong, Diego. Hopefully, next time you can pass the selection for the Indonesian national team!
