The residence of DPR member from PAN, Eko Hendro Purnomo alias Eko Patrio, in Kuningan, Jakarta, became the target of a mob on Saturday (30/8/2025) night. Hundreds of people came repeatedly until they finally entered the house and emptied its contents.

Heri, the complex security officer, explained that since 21:00 WIB, the masses had been seen gathering around the location. The situation became increasingly difficult to control because the number of people coming was far greater than the security personnel on duty.

"So last night the masses had started gathering from 21:00 WIB. At 21:00 they had started to arrive, maybe around 22:00 or later the masses began to push into the house because the defense from the military and our security was also limited. But because the masses were more, yes, hundreds more, that was the first wave. Yes, the masses pushed into Mr. Eko's residence," Heri revealed when met on Sunday (31/8/2025).

According to Heri, the looting at Eko Patrio's house occurred in three waves until the early morning and lasted quite a long time.

Heri explained that the first wave occurred around 10:00 PM when the crowd began to arrive at Eko Patrio's house.

The second wave, which took place at 11:35 PM, was said to have a larger crowd compared to the previous one.

"Well, for last night's demo at 10:00 PM, that was the first wave. At 11:35 PM, that was the second wave, and it was even larger," said Heri.

According to him, all the items in the house were completely depleted during the second wave. The third wave appeared around 2:30 AM, but it was not as large as the previous ones.

"The third wave came because coincidentally the crowd was quite large, but we dispersed them at the front and took three representatives to check Mr. Eko's residence inside, confirming that there was indeed nothing left inside, it was all gone," he said.

Heri added that there were still some people lingering at Eko Patrio's residence even though the items inside had already been cleared out.

"Well, the third wave has already calmed down, so it has dispersed. However, there are still some who are lingering. So they are still curious," added Heri.

The condition of Eko Patrio's house was completely in disarray after the incident. Heri admitted that even small items in the kitchen were taken by the crowd.

"Everything was looted. Even corn, mustard, kitchen spices, all those trivial things were taken away. There was nothing left," he said.
