Kaesang Pangarep and Erina Gudono recently shared the little-known story of their love. Who would have thought that Kaesang proposed to Erina on the toll road!
Appearing as a guest on House Of Mama Gigi, Erina was asked by Raffi Ahmad to reveal how Kaesang 'asked her out,' considering that the youngest son of President Joko Widodo is known as someone who likes to joke around and never takes things seriously.
"He never asked me out, (never) asked me to date him," said Erina Gudono as quoted from the SCTV YouTube channel, Thursday (26/1/2023). "He asked me to marry him," Kaesang replied with a smile.
Erina Gudono confirms her husband's statement about the direct invitation to get married instead of dating. Kaesang then informed the location where he proposed to Erina.
"Even I invited her to get married, do you know where? On the Mohammed bin Zayed toll road (Jakarta-Cikampek Elevated Toll Road) towards Bandung, inside the car," said Jan Ethes' uncle.
It's not about asking whether she wants to or not, Kaesang directly asks the Puteri Indonesia 2022 finalist to marry him and become his wife.
"Let's get married. This month. But first, I've already asked my parents," said Erina.
"For me personally, if a girl, for example, wants it or not, she is given the choice. If I don't want it like that," explained Kaesang.
Erina Gudono then revealed another side of Kaesang. Although known as a relaxed and never serious person, Erina said that Kaesang is a persistent person.
"He is persistent, never giving me a chance to go anywhere. From the beginning, he never asked, 'Do you want to be my girlfriend?' It's like, 'You are with me now, right?'" said Erina.
"But sometimes women like to be pursued, right? It means that the person is really serious, willing to take responsibility for us, not playing around," replied Nagita Slavina.
During their relationship, Erina admitted that she never asked about marriage. It was actually Kaesang who took the initiative. They officially became husband and wife on December 10, 2022.
