Fajar Nugra seems to be more comfortable known as an actor rather than a comedian. This is proven by the many film titles he has starred in, especially in the horror genre.
When met at Kapanlagi Youniverse, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (25/4) afternoon, Fajar admitted that he does not choose in accepting job offers. He does it for a good portfolio for future job purposes.
"I don't choose what comes, I take it because of the portfolio, but it's just a coincidence that the script, production house, and director that come are good, so I take it," said Fajar Nugra.
When it comes to his profession as an actor, Fajar admitted that he doesn't have difficulty in leaving his character behind once shooting is done.
Moreover, he is assisted by acting coach and actor Rukma Rosadi to not bring the character from the film into real life.
"I don't know, but naturally I can place myself without using any treatment, just given treatment by Mr. Rukman Rosadi who creates a way in and out," he said.
"I feel like in every film I play, there is Fajar's presence, that's why I can enter and exit the character naturally," he continued.
However, Fajar explained that there is one film that requires him to play a completely different character.
In that film, he even had to play the character of a disabled person who has no hands and feet.
"There is one film called Kupu Kupu Kertas, unfortunately the film was pulled by the production house but it will be re-released this year. The character is completely different and I got a script that is 100% serious, and physically the character has no hands and feet, I am disabled," he concluded.
