Some time later, the 77-year-old senior actor confirmed that he will remarry. The woman who will be his prospective wife is a businesswoman and politician from Palembang named Wiwiet Tatung.
"Wiwiet and I are planning to get married in July. There will be an engagement before July," said Anwar Fuady when met in Ciledug, West Java, last Saturday (27/4/2024).
Wiwiet Tatung turns out not to be a new figure for Anwar Fuady. Because they have known each other since they were teenagers, although it is admitted that they are not very close.
"I have known my future wife since we were teenagers, but not really close. We were both in Palembang before, but then she went to school in London, and I went to school in Jakarta. Then after meeting again, I am a widower and she is a widow," explained Anwar Fuady.
From the reunion, love sparks between Anwar Fuady and Wiwiet Tatung. After getting to know each other, they decided to get serious.
"After meeting again, I feel compatible with her. The chemistry is just right. She is wise and humorous, suitable for me even though she is even more humorous," said the actor.
