This is Jacqueline Wijaya, a Celebgram and TikToker known for her love for birds. How did she become interested in this particular animal?
Initially, Jacqueline had a dog, but it died. Because she was sad and a little traumatized, she wanted to try taking care of another animal. Based on the advice of some people, she chose a bird.
"Because (birds) have a longer lifespan, they can be close to us, talk with us, and bond with us like dogs. So I decided to buy a bird," Jacqueline said.
Currently, Jacqueline has around 50 pet birds at her house, both large and small. The types include Amazon, Macaw, White Belicate, Cockatoo, Black Head, and many others.
Interestingly, Jacqueline admitted that her birds often bite her out of jealousy when her owner is approached by another man.
Well, this is a bird named Sasa and he's jealous. He can cry, laugh, cough. And even if scolded, he can scold back.
Jacqueline then explained that taking care of birds is simpler than taking care of dogs, especially when it comes to food and care methods.
For Cockatoo birds, Jacqueline mentioned that they must have complete documentation considering that this species is protected by the Government.
"The cage must be clean, if it's dirty, the bird can get sick. If it's already sick, it's difficult to recover. So it's better to have a clean cage from the beginning, good food, yes, food and cleanliness must be maintained," Jacqueline's tips for taking care of birds.
