Maia Estianty recently shared one of the unforgettable moments from her vacation in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil some time ago. Not just an ordinary vacation, Maia and her husband, Irwan Mussry participated in the Samba Carnival there.

Through her personal Instagram account, Maia shared her story of participating in the carnival. Wearing a heavy costume and walking 700 meters made her feel regretful. Like other Indonesian artists, Maia Estianty also chose to vacation abroad to spend her free time. Some time ago, she chose Brazil as her vacation destination.

Not just an ordinary vacation, Maia and her husband, Irwan Mussry, had the opportunity to participate in the popular Samba Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. Maia shared her experience of attending this carnival through her personal Instagram.

Maia recounted that this was the first time for her and Irwan Mussry to attend the Samba Carnival. She also mentioned that this year is the last year foreigners outside of Brazil are allowed to participate in this carnival.

Before attending the carnival, Maia was required to take samba classes first. However, she revealed that the class was sudden and only held for 30 minutes.

After the rehearsal, Maia had to wear such a festive costume. At 2 AM, she and her husband walked among professional dancers accompanied by samba music and watched by thousands of people from around the world.

Not only was it festive, but the costume worn by Maia and Irwan Mussry also felt very heavy. Moreover, they were required to walk a distance of 700 meters.
