Nana Mirdad shared her story through her Insta Story on Tuesday (19/11/2024). Nana felt upset because her house was very dirty, especially the kitchen, as it was hardly ever cleaned by the housekeeper she called mbak.

So after no longer using the housekeeper's services and taking the time, Nana finally focused on cleaning the house. She was shocked by what she found. After trying to understand the housekeeper by meeting their needs, Nana felt that what they provided was not comparable.
While cleaning, she saw the contents of the drawer, which included spills of flour, used matches, dirty tissues, shopping receipts, pencils, and more. What shocked Nana was when she found in the laundry a pair of underwear belonging to her former housekeeper that still had a bloody pad attached.
Nana became increasingly disappointed because her housekeeper did not want to fold things neatly and put items in their proper places. She also regretted that the attention she used to give felt wasted.
This is the result of the trash after just cleaning the dirty kitchen. Nana regretted allowing her housekeeper to be lazy in the past. She also apologized for sharing her housewife drama on social media.
Nana then remembers how her maid used to ask for permission to go to the toilet every little while, even to the shop to buy snacks. She used to let it slide because she wanted to treat her employee like a human being. But her kindness was taken for granted.
When Nana was in Jakarta for a week, her husband, Andrew White, said that their maid was rarely seen at home. It even seemed like the maid didn't want to clean the table.
In her video, Nana didn't even know whether to cry or laugh seeing her kitchen so messy and dirty like this.
