Nikita Mirzani Asserts That the Three Expert Witnesses She Presented Are Neutral & Not Briefed

The three witnesses presented by Nikita are Frans Asisi (linguistics expert), Suparji (criminal law expert), and Subani (civil law expert). According to Nikita, there is a significant difference between his experts and the witnesses from the public prosecutor, who he claims often provide answers like 'I don't know' or 'I forgot'.

This, according to Nikita, is very contrasting with his experts today who are able to provide explanations that are straightforward, neutral, and based on scientific knowledge.

"If the expert witnesses from the public prosecutor yesterday, whatever they were asked, their answers went that way, whatever they were asked, their answers went that way. I don’t know, I forgot, like that," he said when met at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday (25/9/2025).

The 39-year-old woman also firmly denied the possibility of any 'briefing' or special instructions to her witnesses. She guarantees that all statements made in front of the court are purely based on their scientific analysis.

"There was no briefing at all," he asserted. For him, a credible expert witness must be neutral and impartial. This is what he observed from the witnesses who helped him today.

"An expert should be like that, neutral," said Nikita. Nikita's conviction seemed to be a subtle 'jibe' at the quality of witnesses presented by the opposing party. He felt that with the presence of competent expert witnesses, the essence of his case became clearer.

He also hopes that this testimony can be an important consideration for the panel of judges in deciding his case later. "Let's just pray it lightens the burden, okay," he concluded.
