Portrait of Nikita Mirzani Claims Non-Material Damages of Rp100 Billion from Reza Gladys

The lawsuit hearing for breach of contract between Nikita Mirzani and Reza Gladys was held again at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (28/5/2025). This lawsuit includes a claim for non-material damages amounting to Rp100 billion.

Nikita's attorney, Fahmi Bachmid, explained that this amount was proposed because his client felt morally and economically harmed. He emphasized that there are losses experienced by Nikita as an artist and as a single mother.

"This is a non-material loss because Nikita, as an artist, feels that due to this issue, her credibility is also affected," said Fahmi Bachmid at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (28/5/2025).

In addition, according to Fahmi, this case also affects Nikita's financial condition, as she is fully responsible for her three children. This serves as an additional reason for the claim for damages.

"She also cannot earn a living. That is a non-material loss, and we can submit it whether it is granted or not, it is entirely up to the panel of judges. It is not for me to decide, but the judges will decide whether this non-material loss exists, and whether it can be granted or not," he said.

Fahmi revealed that his client feels greatly disadvantaged in this matter because her reputation has been tarnished. This situation has caused Nikita to lose job opportunities."Clearly, as a result of this issue, Nikita's reputation has also been tarnished. She feels disadvantaged. She is also unable to earn a living. Meanwhile, she is the only mother who supports her three young children," he said.

According to Fahmi, there is no other family member of Nikita who can provide financial assistance, so it is reasonable for Nikita to demand substantial compensation. He reiterated the logical reasons behind the claim of Rp 100 billion."None of her three children can earn a living except for Nikita Mirzani. It is reasonable for her to demand immaterial damages of 100 billion. But the main point of this lawsuit is that we are trying to test the validity of the 4 billion amount,' said Fahmi.

Fahmi explained that the main focus of this lawsuit is to examine whether the IDR 4 billion given by Reza Gladys is a legitimate gift. This will be the main point evaluated by the panel of judges."In essence, I am testing the legitimacy of the 4 billion that has been handed over to Nikita Mirzani or to Ismail Marsuki through two transfers. The first was 2 billion via transfer, and the second was brought in cash," he explained.

He also added that the transfer of funds occurred after communication from someone who contacted Ismail Marzuki. In that communication, there was a request to review the relationship between the two parties."I have stated that in November 2024, someone contacted Ismail Marzuki. They asked for a thorough review and so on," said Fahmi.

Fahmi also mentioned that the phrase "please review it kindly" is a key point in this matter. It indicates the existence of indirect communication that influenced the process of fund disbursement."And there was a phrase at that time 'please review it kindly'. That is the issue. I don't know them, but they were contacted through someone else and wanted to meet with Nikita Mirzani," Fahmi added.

Regarding the legality of the agreement, Fahmi stated that it will be tested in court. He requested that the panel of judges consider all the existing evidence."What we are questioning is the grant that was stated to be Rp 4 billion. That is what we are testing and we request that it be established as a valid grant," he said again.

Fahmi concluded his statement by saying that the next hearing will be an important moment to clarify all aspects of this case. He assured that he would provide further explanations after the hearing."I think for now I will go into the room. Later I will continue so that the issue is clearer after the hearing, okay," Fahmi said.
