Artist Nikita Mirzani officially begins her detention at Class 1 Pondok Bambu Prison, East Jakarta, related to an alleged extortion case. This transfer was made after the handover from the South Jakarta District Attorney on Thursday (6/5/2025).

The head of Pondok Bambu Prison, Nebi Viarleni, confirmed that Nikita will serve a detention period of 20 days. He explained that the detention period is from June 5 to June 24, 2025.

"Yes, Nikita Mirzani has entered Class 1 Pondok Bambu Prison for a detention period of 20 days, starting from June 5 until June 24, 2025," said Nebi when met at Pondok Bambu Prison on Thursday (6/5/2025).

During the registration process, Nikita was reported to be in good health and able to interact well. Nebi ensured that the mother of three was cooperative."Her condition is healthy, thank God, and she is cooperative, able to answer questions from the registration officer. Overall, she is in good health," he explained.

Nikita will occupy a special block during the initial orientation period in the detention center, known as the mapenaling period. This process is carried out in accordance with standard operating procedures.

"According to the SOP, during her time at the Pondok Bambu Detention Center, she will enter the special mapenaling block for a maximum of one month. The mapenaling period is the initial introduction to the environment at the Pondok Bambu Detention Center, after which she will be moved to another block," said Nebi.

Regarding placement, Nikita will not be alone in one cell. She will be combined with several other detainees who will also enter soon."Combined with other detainees, not alone," said Nebi.

The number of occupants in one detention room will adjust to the available capacity. Usually, one room is filled by two to four people.

"There will be about 3 people coming, maybe 4 people, it could be that today 9 people will enter, but into that room at least two people at a time," he said.

Regarding the trial schedule, Nebi could not confirm yet because currently Nikita's status is still that of a prosecutor's detainee. He mentioned that this process could take quite a long time."If this is just a prosecutor's detainee, not a court detainee. It means 20, 30, 50 days, plus an extension of another 30, 30, if it’s TPPU, that means still 120 days, which means 60, 60, 120 days," said Nebi.
