Pinkan Mambo, former member of Ratu, is now back in the spotlight of netizens. Not through her latest work in singing, but through live broadcasts on TikTok.
After a decline in performance offers, Pinkan mentioned that she now makes a living by selling donuts while earning money from live streams on TikTok. What’s the full story?
On TikTok, Pinkan started to be recognized again through her live karaoke performances. While singing, she sells her homemade donuts and hopes for tips from the audience.
One of the touching moments occurred when Ivan Gunawan tipped Rp10 million during one of her live shows, making Pinkan cry with emotion. Pinkan continues to sell donuts and sets a high price of Rp130 thousand per serving.
Although her donuts are quite expensive, Pinkan receives many orders. Most of the orders she receives are purchases for the blessed Friday, and she also provides a service to directly distribute them to the person designated by the buyer.
Meanwhile, Pinkan Mambo revealed the amount of income that can be earned from TikTok live. The amount can reach millions to tens of millions.
"On TikTok, it can be Rp 1-5-10 million a day, I’ve experienced it. Other hosts who are already mentors can earn Rp 1 billion in turnover a day, or Rp 100 million a day," said Pinkan Mambo as reported by detikcom, Tuesday (10/06/2025).
The former duet partner of Maia Estianty admitted to having experienced significant earnings from TikTok. She mentioned that she once earned Rp 30 million in 24 hours, but she has also experienced not earning anything.
"I once earned Rp 30 million in a day, but I also earned a million in a day, and sometimes I didn't get paid at all," she concluded.
