On Sunday (8/6) Ernest Prakasa officially announced on his Instagram Story that he has decided to stop actively using the X platform (formerly Twitter). He revealed various things after the decision was made in his Instagram story. Here are the details.

"Finally, I am following in the footsteps of Raditya Dika, Ferry Irwandi, and many other friends to leave the Twitter or X platform," wrote Ernest.

Ernest's decision to leave X received a lot of support even from fellow blue-check account holders. "Actually, I've been tired for a long time, but it feels sad to part with old friends," Ernest revealed.

"I've been on Twitter since before the standup even, but the fact is that as time goes on, Twitter is becoming more and more like that," he added.

Since the first day he deactivated his account, Ernest has apparently felt a sense of peace. He also confirmed that he deleted his Threads account.

He highlighted the issue of buzzer services. Yes, there are many buzzer accounts that are disturbed by the decision of blue tick account owners to deactivate their accounts.

Apparently, this decision threatens their existence. "Twitter buzzer services are at risk of going bankrupt because Twitter has run out of targets to attack," wrote Ernest.

Before deciding to leave, Ernest caught public attention by questioning the source of the funding for the Rolex watch prize to the Indonesian national team players. After his tweet went viral, Ernest's X account finally disappeared with the message "something went wrong" when searched.
