Portrait of Sadness and Resilience of Ridwan Kamil Bringing Eril's Body Home, Taking Time to Greet and Wave to the Mourners

Eril's body arrived at Soekarno Hatta Airport on Sunday (12/6) at 3:25 PM. The family welcomed the return of their beloved son.

After several hours of travel, Ridwan Kamil's entourage, who brought Eril's body to the funeral home in Gedung Pakuan, finally arrived.

In the midst of drizzle and the echoing of sholawat, Ridwan Kamil still took the time to greet and wave to the residents who had come to Gedung Pakuan.

When the ambulance stopped, several people were ready to remove Eril's body from the car. And the sholawat procession continued to echo.

Getting out of the ambulance, Ridwan Kamil, along with his wife, Atalia Praratya, and their daughter, went straight into the funeral home, waiting for their son's body to be laid to rest.

Some officers, from the TNI slowly began to remove the coffin containing Eril Kahn's body from the Ambulance.

Before the body arrived, heavy rain had poured over Bandung from the afternoon until evening. 

The rain started to ease when the procession carrying Eril's body arrived at Pakuan Building. 

Like the funeral procession of a Muslim, Eril's coffin was covered with a green cloth.

Eril's body has arrived at the funeral home. Here, the funeral prayer is led directly by his father. And for the burial, it will be held on Monday (13/6) at 09.00 am at the prepared and self-designed grave by Ridwan Kamil, right next to the Al Mumtadz mosque.
