Portrait of Sherina Munaf Debuting as Music Director at FFI 2025, An Extraordinary Honor

For the first time appointed as a music accompanist at the 2025 Indonesian Film Festival, Sherina expressed her pride in being able to participate.

In her social media post, Sherina expressed her happiness in collaborating with musicians and soundtrack contributors who performed with great energy.

"It is an honor to accompany great performers, the soundtrack contributors of films made by our nation's children, celebrating Indonesian cinema together," Sherina stated in her post (11/22/2025).

"All of this is possible - from the arrangement process to showtime - thanks to the amazing music team and performers who performed with passion," she continued. 

For Sherina, this moment has become a valuable experience as well as a new challenge in her debut leading the music arrangement of a live event.

Sherina also expressed her gratitude to the Indonesian Film Festival for trusting her to perform the legendary song 'Citra,' as well as believing in the musical vision that she and her team presented.

"Thank you for accompanying my first journey in music directing a live event. Thank you @festivalfilmid for trusting our vision and entrusting me with the legendary song Citra," said Sherina.

With great appreciation, she described this experience as a new journey that opens wider opportunities to continue contributing to the advancement of Indonesian cinema through music.

Wearing an all-black formal outfit, Sherina also exudes a strong and serious charisma as a musician in fulfilling her role.
