Tamara Geraldine has become a victim of the flooding currently affecting Jakarta. Her luxury home is submerged in quite high floodwaters, causing her furniture to be submerged as well.
Unfortunately, the flood did not come just once to Tamara's house. She experienced flooding twice in two days and is still anxious about whether there will be another subsequent flood.
The area around Tamara Geraldine's house is flooded due to the flooding in Jakarta. The water level is quite high, reaching approximately 2 meters.
Due to this flood, Tamara had to postpone the opening of her holistic house. "Today was supposed to be the "kick off" day for Cana house as a holistic restoration house (physical, spiritual, mental). Yesterday, just 3 hours after everything was neatly arranged in all corners and therapy rooms, the flood came rushing in mercilessly. The heavy rain caused the embankment at 3 points in the area of our house in South Jakarta to break," Tamara wrote on Instagram on (7/7) yesterday.
Tamara is still grateful because there were people who helped her get out of the house when the flood was rising. "I am thankful that there were still workers who were also "trapped" until the night before being rescued by the SAR team because the water level in the complex reached almost 2 meters and inside Cana house, it was waist-high," she continued.
This is the condition of Tamara's house when it flooded. After the water receded on the first day, Tamara immediately cleaned it up with her husband. However, the flood came again on the second day.

Tamara also prays that other residents who are victims of the flood like herself are given strength and resilience. She also prays that the leaders of DKI Jakarta can respond more quickly to disasters like this.
