The latest news comes from Nikita Mirzani's lover, Antonio Dedola. The German man is reportedly converted to Islam. The news was known through an upload by Fitri Salhuteru, a friend of Nikita Mirzani, on Sunday (22/1/2023).
In the upload, Antonio Dedola can be seen wearing a white Muslim attire complete with a black peci or songkok on his head.
Antonio Dedola then shook hands with a religious leader while being guided to recite the two sentences of the Shahada. Reciting the two sentences of the Shahada is a requirement to become a convert.
He slowly recited the two sentences of the shahada. "Asyhadu alla ilaha illallah wa asyhadu anna muhammadarrasulullah," said Antonio Dedola.
In the caption of her post, Fitri Salhuteru hopes that Antonio Dedola will become a better person after converting to Islam.
Furthermore, Fitri also prays that Antonio Dedola will truly be compatible with Nikita Mirzani and become an imam for his friend.
"My prayer is that you will be compatible with Nikita, become the head of the family for Nikita, be a good example for Nikita's children, and be a good imam for @nikitamirzanimawardi_172's family," wrote Fitri.
Before converting to Islam, Antonio Dedola had already started studying Islam and the Quran. He admitted that his desire to convert to Islam was not because of Nikita Mirzani but his own desire.
